Let's work together to create a piece that speaks to you personally and works in your space. Collaborating with an artist to create custom work can be a beautiful experience, pushing an artistic vision beyond usual boundaries.
If you like the style of work your see here and can envision fluid abstract art in your space, please reach out. While I primarily create art in this style, I also offer oil paintings on commission, although they require more time and generally come with a higher price tag. Varnishing oil paintings cannot be rushed -- it is for their protection. If you are interested in working together to create a custom piece, I'm excited to meet and collaborate.

After submitting interest on my contact page, the journey begins with a thorough consultation to understand aesthetics, personal preferences, and the environment where the painting will live. Typically, this involves viewing your space (in person or virtually) to determine the best size for your investment. This collaboration lays important groundwork for understanding how to create your art.
Nonrefundable deposits and signed contracts are required for all commission requests to move forward. If you change your mind, the deposit value can be put towards any other paintings for sale.

Creating the artistic vision
This step involves defining and testing a color palette to ensure your satisfaction with the final piece in your space. Each canvas is custom built to size, beginning with the frame. The canvas is then stretched and triple-gessoed before your piece commences. (Gesso is a primer that readies a surface for painting.) Understanding your preferences through creative exchange allows me to fully craft a vision unique to you and your space. Once you're comfortable with this vision, the art creation process begins. Completion time frames vary, but I make every attempt to finish the work within a few months of receiving a contract.

Art completion and insured shipping
I keep you informed all throughout the process if preferred (including picture updates), and upon completion of the project I make sure details of the piece and the overall painting align with your expectations. Floater frames can be added upon request for an additional fee. Once the artwork has your approval, it is varnished, carefully packed with a Certificate of Authenticity, shipped and insured to safeguard your investment, and meets you ready to hang with confidence at your doorstep.

Pricing + Sizing are customizable to accommodate your space, design, vision, and aesthetics.
Deposits are 50% of the total cost of the project, minus shipping.
